Grounds Development Week 2016
Outdoor art inspired in grounds development week by the books "Only One You" by Linda Kranz. The week celebrated us sharing learning about our individual unique talents and diversity. Every child made a stone fish to represent the school as a loving and caring community family. We are thrilled with the results.
uring grounds development week we developed our team working skills and resilience to work together to prepare our garden beds ready for the spring. We painted and planted the beds and tidied the shed ready for the growing season. We are all really excited about developing our school grounds over the summer term.
Celebrating us all being unique and different Year 6 created Chapelford people who are starting to spring up all over the school grounds. These 3D statues are all unique and individual just like the children at Chapelford Village Primary School. Keep your eyes open they are popping up everywhere! More to follow over the next few weeks...

The book emphasised our school community as a groups of individuals with unique talents, it emphasised the importance of us all being special in our own way and standing out from the crowd and being on the look out for new friends all the time. children from Early Years to Year 6'designed and painted a fish stone to celebrate every individual in school.
