The Prince William Award
'Dare to be your best self'
The Prince William Award is a yearlong programme that offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity for pupils to explore and develop their character as they grow and mature. This year, Chapelford Village Primary school is delighted to be the first school in the Warrington area to be undertaking this course with the current year 5 pupils.
The programme explores 5 key themes:
1 Personal development – building a foundation for inner strength
2 Relationships – looking at how individually we can be more effective by connecting and working with others.
3 Working together – developing team working skills to achieve a result that requires mental and physical strength.
4 Community – helping young people to make a contribution to those around them.
5 Environment – enabling pupils to appreciate the world around them, so that they see a link with something beyond themselves.
