The School Diversity team had a visit from Faisal Rashid, labour electoral candidate, who came to talk to them about equality and diversity in political role. The children asked him questions about his work and his life and he asked the children what they’d enjoyed about anti-bullying week. He was very interested in hearing about the worry boxes and sorry boxes, and about being a buddy not a bully. Faisal helped to officially the new names for our learning corridors. The main  corridor through school is now Believe Boulevard and children in Years two and three are on Diversity Drive. Suggestions were made for the different road names and children were encouraged to come up with ideas that reflected equality and diversity. Other corridor names include Communication Close, Positivity Park and Leadership Lane.
