On Friday evening our rugby team participated in a competition at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The children showed fantastic team work and resilience over the course of the few games they played. They came up against a tough opposition in the first game, but used that to develop and grow as a team for the next game. The second game saw the children’s confidence grow and team work, communication and passion flourish. It was lovely to witness this during the night.

We then made it into the knockout game, which ended up being against the first team they had played. Although we didn’t win this game, the children had improved so much against them from their first attempt making it a tough game to watch! All children showed our school values of respect on the field and we were very proud to have them represent us.

A massive thank you to the parents and carers who came down to support their children and the team.
