At Chapelford, all of our children are part of a house team, and they are   encouraged to work collaboratively to earn points by demonstrating our school values, achieving certificates and receiving rewards. Every time they do, they earn a house point for their team.

At the end of each term, house points are formally counted by our Head Boy and Head Girl, and the winning team earns a special reward. To keep the excitement building, the standings are shared in assembly each week so children can see just how close they are to the top!

Last term, St. George’s House emerged victorious and were rewarded with an exclusive invite to Santa’s Workshop. Children from EYFS to Year 6 came together to take part in a range of festive activities, which was a well-deserved celebration!

This term, it was the turn of St. Patrick’s House, who finished with the highest number of points. To celebrate, they were treated to a VIP Cinema Experience and what a fantastic day they had, made even better by the sunshine!

Children are reminded that every single house point counts, so keep showing those values and doing your best. There is still everything to play for as we head towards our ultimate reward… the Chapelford Annual Beach Party! Who will be crowned the next winners?  We can’t wait to find out!
