EYFS seeds

As part of our growing curriculum, our EYFS children have been busy exploring the wonderful world of seeds!

The children have been investigating and comparing a range of different seeds, carefully sorting them by size, colour and shape. They enjoyed looking closely at the different seeds and noticing the similarities and differences between them.

The children have also been finding out where different seeds come from and developing their understanding of how tiny seeds can grow into plants. They have been encouraged to ask questions, make observations and share their ideas as they explore.

It has been wonderful to see the children showing such curiosity and enthusiasm as they learn about the natural world around them.

We can’t wait to see where their growing journey takes them!
